MT ZION BAPTIST CHURCH was constituted in 1959 by a handful of families who believed God had led them to join together as a family oriented group of believers who genuinely cared for all in the community. Over the years, we have only grown stronger in our belief that our main calling is to faithfully love God and to share His love in our community and around the world.  

“Our primary goal is to lead people to be followers of Jesus Christ. Everything we do comes back to that.”

We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of God and Savior. We want to know Him and experience the joy and wonder of His love and forgiveness, and we want everyone else to experience it too. We have worship services, small group studies designed for every age group, as well as other gatherings, but it all serves one central purpose – to  know Christ and make Him known!

We are collecting items for shoeboxes year-round, and have a goal of 200 boxes! March & April’s focus is toys and crafts. We will have a big packing party in October!

Ladies Bible Study
Ladies Bible Study

Our ladies are starting a new study, Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin! They meet the last Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM. Now is the perfect time to join!

 

Service Times

Sundays:

  • 9:00 am - Life Groups (all ages)

  • 10:00 am - Worship Service

  • 5:00 pm - Bible Study (an adult classes & a youth class), Children’s Choir (K-6th), & Bible Buddies (K-3rd)

  • 6:00 pm - Worship Service & Children’s Bible Drills (4th-6th, only meets January through March)

Wednesdays:

  • 6:30 pm - Children’s Class (PreK - 6th grades); Youth Group (7th - 12th grades); Prayer Meeting (adults)

A nursery is provided for all services.
